PTK Consulting Limited - Our client who is a major player in the Power sector is seeking to employ a suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Head, Distribution Network

Location: Delta

Responsibilities

• Management and Monitoring of Network Distribution Operation & Maintenance Vendor
• Build relationships with stakeholders that will contribute to Industrial and Commercial targets.
• Responsible for the company's processes and procedures for switching schedules for High Voltage works and associated work permit regimes.
• Maintain high-level operational liaison with other electricity distributors.
• Maintain liaison with Electricity Suppliers, Emergency, and other Service Providers, ICPs and other electricity distributors with regard to technical and operational matters.
• Assure compliance with the companyТs internal design and construction policies and standards and its Distribution Safety Rules
• Responsible for the review of the status, adequacy and effectiveness of the asset maintenance regime, safety policies and technical standards.
• Develop and implement asset maintenance and inspection regimes.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• A Degree in Electrical Power Engineering Or Electrical Engineering.
• Up to 5 years relevant work experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of the management, planning, construction and operation of electricity distribution networks
• Ability to manage the design, construction, operation and expansion of Electricity Distribution Networks
• Knowledge of the selection and procurement of materials to be used in the construction of electricity distribution networks.
• In-depth knowledge of the electricity industry Standards, Recommendations, Specifications and Legislation relevant to the construction and operation of electricity distribution networks.

Skills & Proficiency:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
