Job Title: eCommerce Content Manager

Details

  • The eCommerce Content Manager is responsible for all on-site product content organization and spearheads all site merchandising initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing the digital product lifecycle from product photography to product categorization/activation to the on-site shopping experience.

Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Site Merchandising & Content Management for aneeque.com and other company websites
  • Manage the site content and product “go-live” schedule to ensure products are activated in a timely manner, maximizing selling time on site
  • Coordinate product photography needs with the Creative team and licensed vendors – this includes styling products, creating shot lists, providing on-set direction, selecting final product imagery, and communication photo edits/mark ups
  • Manage and coordinate copywriting and communicate copy needs to ensure site content is brand appropriate, consistent, and accurate
  • Work with other teams to effectively implement merchandising and marketing strategies
  • Using analytics, heatmapping and A/B testing, ideate and test new site features and strategies to improve UX and ensure customer facing content and merchandising are accurate
  • Keep up with advancements and changes in the industry and develop an understanding of how new technologies can be leveraged to provide business solutions
  • Manage and coordinate SEO and site analytics
  • Provide adhoc reporting

Details of the job Requirements

  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Excellent creative writing skills in English
  • Knowledge of the content management process and an ability to track the performance of marketing programs
  • Comprehensive understanding of fashion and retail
  • Experience with blogging and social media to achieve business goals
  • Experience development video content and copywriting for editorial content
  • Experience in fashion or beauty industry preferred
  • Experience with content management tools preferred
  • Experience creating ad-hoc reports within Excel or similar tools
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office and WordPress or other blogging platform

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in digital retail, specifically content management, site merchandising, and product photography
  • Demonstrated experience with design best practices across all work delivered
  • Able to work independently/take initiative and ownership
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and efficient
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Possess a deep understanding in the trends, needs, innovations, and pace of the eCommerce industry.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, tagging, SEO, heat mapping tools, A/B testing platforms, and ticketing systems is a plus
  • Experience working with Product Information and Content Management systems
  • Has a positive attitude, flexible and passionate about continuous improvement
