CHAN Medi-Pharm Ltd/Gte (CMP) is today the oldest and largest drug distribution NGO in Nigeria. The company has expanded to acquire a large asset base with Headquarters at Jos and three zonal offices within Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: National Sales Manager

Locations: Jos - Plateau and Lagos
Reporting to: The Managing Director / CEO

Job Description

  • The ideal person will lead the entire Sales team at the National level and will be responsible for Sales of the company's wide range of pharmaceutical and medical products.
  • Develop strategies and ensure implementation to build company brands to achieve market share and the National Sales figures.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for Sales, and Distribution of essential medicines, medical consumables and other healthcare products.
  • Ensure overall management of the Sales and Customer Service Unit and directly coach and supervise the Regional Sales Managers.
  • Determine Sales & Customer Service staff training and development needs and recommend appropriate action.
  • Establish the peculiar needs of all categories of customers and recommend ways and means of addressing them.
  • Ensure efficient and coordinated sales operation of the companyТs essential medicines to the Member Institutions in other to achieve the national sales target.
  • Ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual sales & customer service targets are realized nationally.
  • Prepare annual sales plan in line with corporate objectives.
  • Ensure that all reporting requirements are met by all field staff and provide monthly, quarterly and annual Sales & Customer Service Reports to Management.
  • Any other assignment as will be given from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Hold a minimum of a B. Pharm degree with not less than 5 years experience in managing a team of Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing Staff in high performance Sales function
  • Not be less than 35 years of age. Masters in Business Administration will be an added advantage.
  • Possess strong computer knowledge (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
