Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is an International non-governmental organization supporting relief and development work in over 99 countries around the world. CRS programs assist persons based on need, regardless of creed, ethnicity or nationality. CRS works through local church and non-church partners to implement its programs, therefore strengthening and building the capacity of these partner organizations is fundamental to programs in every country in which CRS operates.

CRS re-established presence in Nigeria in 2000 and currently focuses on vulnerable children, agriculture, health and HIV, extractives and governance, and peacebuilding programming. The Faith-Based Action for Scaling up Testing and Treatment for the Epidemic Response (FASTER) is a US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded multi-country project designed to accelerate progress in paediatric HIV diagnosis and treatment in four countries with high unmet need for child and adolescent ART: Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. It is a partnership between government, civil society organizations (CSOs), private sector actors, and FBOs to catalyze progress towards achieving the 95-95-95 targets by addressing structural barriers to paediatric testing and treatment, expanding innovation, and scaling up what works. Catholic Relief Services (CRS) leads the FASTER consortium which includes Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI).
