Job Title: Enterprise Infrastructure Administration (IT)

Experience and Knowledge
- Degree in information technology or business information technology or comparable qualification.
- Cognate IT Certification will be an added advantage.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in an operational IT role as an administrator.
- Evidence of sound experience in Server administration (modern MS Windows server (hardware, operations system. MS Office, network connections), patch management scripting, user administration
- MS SQL server administration.
- Exchange Server administration
- Advanced knowledge at Windows Active Directory network environment, DNS and DHCP
- Backup and recovery procedures (sql-database server, operating systems).
- IT Security tools and methods (firewalls, VPN, TCP/IP)
- Problem solving, analytical and process oriented.
- Ability to take responsibility, work on own initiative, manage a team.
- Willingness to travel to bank branches throughout the country for installation and Administration of server.
Experience in:
- IT operations in a services company, preferred in the field of banking.
- IT project work.
- Selecting providers and negotiating contracts.
- Windows batch scripting and linux server administration.
- Knowledge in operating an T24 environment is an advantage.
Evidence of:
- Openness to learning new technologies and methodologies.
- Steering providers.
- Flexibility and operational readiness.
Results expected to achieve:
- All servers at the head office and branches must be up and running at all times.
- A reliable and secure connection is maintained between the head office and all branches.
- Efficient management of IT request.
- All server rooms are well maintained in accordance with IT Operations Manual for Access Banks.
- Auto-scheduling of the UPS to support Business activities from 7am to 9pm for Head Office and 7am to 7pm at the branch.
- Phone Availability is established at all branches to adequately support the business.
- The cameras must be 24/7 surveillance and playback should be guaranteed on demand.
- Physical and Logical Access Controls to the IT environment are put in place.
