Job Description
- The role will involve leading the corporate strategy and provide strategy guidance and oversight to the development of the management team in the development of tactic and operational plan.
- The candidate will work closely with the Board of Directors to formulate appropriate investment policies and strategies; and assist to implement long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies.
Educational/Professional Qualifications
- A university degree in Economics, Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any other related discipline with relevant professional certification (ACIB, ACA, ACCA, ICMA, CIMA). A post graduate degree (MBA, MSc) will be an added advantage.
- 15 years + relevant experience in Finance, 10 of which must be at senior management level.
- Extensive knowledge of fixed income markets, bond structuring, legal intricacies of mortgage backed securities and a comprehensive knowledge of mortgage products and their legal issues, payment structures and maturity matching, housing finance, asset securitisation, financial markets, risk management and asset allocation strategies.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, i.e. MS Word, Excel, (Finance application experience an advantage).
