In order to meet increasing demands for our services, vacancy now exists for the below senior management position in our Head Office located in Lagos, Nigeria:

Job Title: Head - Enterprise Risk Management & Compliance

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance and management to identify, evaluate, mitigate and monitor the Group’s operational and strategic risks
  • Develop and/or implement Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks and to manage these risks according to established framework
  • Align company’s risk management policies and strategies with applicable regulations, rating agency standards and overall governance policy of the Group.
  • Establish the Enterprise Risk Management architecture for the company
  • Monitor all operational risk management activities of the Group
  • Monitor and analyze risks within the Group’s subsidiaries and departments and report on these risks to the Board
  • Responsible for insurance and risk management and/or Business Continuity Planning activities of the Group.

General Qualification, Experience, Attributes and Skills Required

  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance or other related disciplines with membership of recognized professional bodies within or outside Nigeria
  • A minimum of 10-year post qualification experience with at least 5 years as an Internal Auditor/Risk & Compliance Manager in a large company
  • Possess intimate knowledge of internal business processes and industry knowledge
  • Innovative leadership skills with ability to build internal and external alliances
  • Must be a dynamic, proactive, decisive leader and good team player
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive performance among all key stakeholders in the Group.
