In order to meet increasing demands for our services, vacancy now exists for the below senior management position in our Head Office located in Lagos, Nigeria:

Job Title: Enterprise Risk Management Executive

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and monitor the management of annual budgets of the company
  • Rigorous  analysis of financial statements, annual reports, industry benchmarks and market trends
  • Proactively review, analyze and interpret financial, business and other corporate information to identify risks and proffer mitigations to forestall occurrence
  • Ensure implementation of the enterprise risk framework of the company’s overall risk management strategies and annual work plans
  • Provide support, education and training of the workforce to build risk awareness within the company
  • Create risk awareness to managers and staff on risks relevant to their subsidiaries / departments and at individual level to enhance understanding of their accountability for their subsidiaries / departments’ risks
  • Ensure the establishment of and compliance with all appropriate controls and procedures in the various subsidiaries and departments in the group company

General Qualification, Experience, Attributes and Skills Required

  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other Actuarial Sciences and Management related disciplines with membership of recognized professional bodies within or outside Nigeria. MBA / MSc is an added advantage
  • Aminimum of 3-year experience in middle management position working as Corporate FinanceAnalyst
  • Good understanding of enterprise risk management, corporate forensic accounting and coiporate governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze budgets, resources, processes, projectsand relationships
  • Working knowledge end effective application of relevant banking / business policies, processes, procedures and guidelines for compliance and governance standards or benchmarks
  • High standards of integrity and ethical practice, sound judgment, fearless and independent
  • Ideal candidates will be dynamic, growth-oriented and ready to take advantage of emerging market opportunities.
