In order to meet increasing demands for our services, vacancy now exists for the below senior management position in our Head Office located in Lagos, Nigeria:

Job Title: Head - Group Support Services

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and supervision of trades persons/artisans within the Group’s shared platform
  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new materials using lean cost containment strategy
  • Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
  • Organize and supervise other office activities such as waste management, recycling, renovations, event planning among others
  • Oversee procurement, inventory and reorder levels to ensure optimal deployment of resources across the Group.
  • Car movement management and monitoring as well as maintenance of office equipment such as photocopying machine and validating machines.
  • Maintenance register of all office equipment and machinery
  • Supervises all administrative staff
  • Ensure efficiency of properties especially generators
  • Manage relationship with all vendors including vendor attached to all subsidiaries.

General Qualification, Experience, Attributes and Skills Required

  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or other related disciplines with membership of recognized professional bodies within or outside Nigeria.
  • A minimum of 5-year post qualification experience in senior management position working as Administrative/Facility Manager with a strong proven track record in shared services management model and relationship building
  • Ability to manage multi-cultural and geographically diverse teams
  • Proven ability to organize, plan and prioritize own workload and lead teams to meet deadlines and target a with lean resources
  • Analytical, problem solving and excellent communications skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including the development and use of Access Databases and cloud storage facilities.
