National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu hereby invites suitably qualified candidates for admission into 2014/2015 Session in any of the Post Basic Nursing Diploma Programmes below:
- School of Orthopaedic Nursing
- School of Bums/Plastic Nursing
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Posses the West African School Certificate/GCE/NECO or their acceptable equivalent with Credits in five (5) subjects at one or two sittings including English Language and Mathematics, and at least two (2) Science subjects viz: Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
- Be a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Have at least 1 year post qualification experience in the clinical area.
- Show evidence of sponsorship/release throughout the period of training by an institution or voluntary agencies.
- Evidence of physical fitness.
Duration of Courses:
The duration of the course is Twelve (12) Calendar months comprising two (2) Semesters.
Test and Selection of Interview
Written test and oral interviews will be conducted at the Post Basic Nursing Schools as
follows:
- Orthopaedic Nursing: 6th August, 2014
- Bums/Plastic Nursing: 13th August, 2014
Accommodation
The hospital has accommodation for the selected successful candidates during the period of the course.

Method of Application
Application forms are obtainable from the Coordinator of each Programme on presentation of receipt for payment of nonrefundable fee of (N5,000.00) five thousand Naira only. Forms are available at the schools now.
Note: Application forms duly completed together with photocopies of relevant credentials including valid Nursing License should be forwarded to the Course Coordinator of the programme of choice.
