A reputable Engineering firm with bias in construction and manufacturing, quarrying, logistic and fleet management whose office is located in Abakaliki Ebonyi State requires the services of a qualified and experienced accountant with excellent and inter personal communication skills.
Position: Accounts Manager
Location: Ebonyi
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews, analyzes and presents financial data including revenue projections and expenditure reports.
- Prepares financial statements, reports of operations, expenditure reports. Assists in gathering and reviewing data for preparation of budget work programmes.
- Maintains various ledgers, journals, registers and other fiscal records.
- Allocates revenues to appropriate functions; classifies expenditures and posts to various accounts as required.
- Reviews and processes expense vouchers, invoices and other fiscal documents for payment, Determines payroll requirements; maintains payroll data; prepares and processes monthly payrolls. Supervision of subordinates and allocation of responsibilities to Accounts staff.
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the MD.
Qualification/Skills
- The candidates must possess at least a good honours degree from a recognized higher institution of learning plus at least 7-10 years Post Qualification cognate experience and must also be a fellow of ICAN.
- Candidate must also have a good knowledge of the current accounting softwores especially Peachtree Quantum and ERP SAGE X3.
