Role Summary/Purpose:
The Specialist - Document Control is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity within the Oil & Gas Project Management organization. Follows an individual work plan and meets day-to-day short-term objectives. Has the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Maintain document coordination and internal/external approval processes for various large-scale projects
  • Perform to KPIs and goals set by the Lead Team Leader - Document Control
  • Manage the master document register, including engineering drawings, manufacturing data books, materials certificates, reports, etc. throughout the project
  • Support global standards for processes of the document management system, (including set up of the DCC system and Reports)
  • Identify improvement opportunities and work with Lead Team Leader - Document Control to implement improvements
  • Own improvement focus areas as assigned by Lead Team Leader - Document Control
  • Drive final documentation metrics for projects assigned or projects supported by group
  • Represent the team in the cross functional initiative
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Document Control
  • At least 3 additional years of experience in Document Control

  • Ability to organize, assess, orchestrate, prioritize tasks, risks, resources, milestones, and deliverables
