Rayuwa Farms Limited was incorporated on the 2nd of October, 2012. Prior to the incorporation, the farm existed since 1996 on 1.5 hectares of land with skeletal production of catfish table size, fingerlings and soya/groundnut cake, but now operate a land area of about 500 hectares.

The scope of the farm continued to broaden with time with other products and services coming on board. Rayuwa Farms Limited is a clear testimony of starting small and growing big.

Our farm is expected to be a concrete illustration of how to create an enabling environment that would generate appropriate socio-economic, technical and organizational solutions to the challenge of poverty, unemployment and demographic transition for Nigeria in particular and Africa as a whole. We are a member of several associations within the industry.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Marketing / Sales Officer

Location: Masaka, Nasarawa

Job Description

  • Highest standards of customer understanding and service.
  • Giving advice, guidance and recommendations on products, processing and packaging.
  • Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Follow-up on appropriate stock order levels, management, rotation and freshness of stock, product quality and turnover to maximise sales and minimise out-of-stocks and overstocks.
  • Ensuring accurate billing and pricing.
  • Confirm quality, dates, counts and condition of stock.
  • Managing promotions and creating fabulous displays, immaculately presented.
  • Handling customer complaints in the first instance and reporting feedback to the Manager.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legislation NAFDAC, SON and food hygiene.
  • Manage pricing and profitability.
  • Train, motivate and mentor other staff involved in the sales of the product.
  • Communicate and cooperate with all other processing staff engendering positive working relationships.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree / HND in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing or related field is preferred.
  • Candidates should possess 2 - 3 years work experience.
  • Proven sales experience.
  • You must love fish, be interested and preferably have had experience in sales
  • Sound knowledge of sales strategies and industry regulations.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
