We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Team Member, Asset Management

Location: Lagos

Functions

  • Assists in analysing financial performance of assets;
  • Provides support in developing property business plans and assess property cash flows;
  • Participates in updating operating and capital improvement budgets;
  • Supports in reviewing loan documents and document key points;
  • Assists in designing, developing, implementing and documenting Asset Management processes, procedures, and tools;
  • Provide support in collecting and interpreting Asset data and works closely with external teams and vendors to ensure accuracy of the data;
  • Assists in the annual budgeting and business planning process
  • Participates in audits of AVA GAM’s Asset Management database for accuracy and reconciliation of discrepancies;
  • Identifies opportunities for streamlining, increasing effectiveness through continuous process improvement;
  • Assists in data analysis and evaluate various business lines
  • Collaborates with asset management team to assist in evaluating the financial viability of capital improvement projects and new lines of business;
  • Provides support in underwriting and lease negotiations, provide support to leasing department;
  • Participates in developing capital markets initiatives;
  • Assists Portfolio Manager with investment due diligence and other various projects;
  • Assists in other areas of the department and company as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related course from a reputable university;
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate and an interest in pursuing a career in commercial leasing, sales, or development.
  • Team Player;
  • Ability to think critically with high degree of attention to detail;
  • Excellent quantitative skills with an interest in Analytics/Data;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Strong analytical skills and quantitative skills;
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a deadline driven environment;
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role
