Job Title: Sales Executive - Power Tools

Location: Matori, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking for a qualified Sales Executive with Sales skills and experience for the promotion of our high class Power tool. The Sales Executive is our key point of contact for clients and provides mainly pre- but also after-sales service.
  • He liaises closely with other members of the sales team, senior company Managers in Lagos and Germany.
  • He passes necessary information and skills to our partners thus facilitating the sales.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Searching for new clients and projects who will benefit from company products
  • Developing long-term relationships with clients (Dealers & End users)
  • Ensure customers satisfaction (Full package)
  • Providing hands on training (site /seminars)
  • Explaining the pros and cons of the product to customers
  • Market research / preparing reports and activity plans
  • Meeting regular targets, follow up and collection of payments
  • Office back up offers orders invoice
  • Penetrating competitor markets
  • Visit construction sites to ensure brand visibility and monitor competitor's activities.
  • Ensure effective customer satisfaction and after sales care
  • Project management
  • Tracking theprojectdevelopment
  • To contact main contractor and their subcontractors
  • Meet sales goals and objectives assigned by the Sales Manager
  • Gain product knowledge of Makita Power Tools
  • Provide product training for dealers and customers
  • Participating in marketing events like trade shows, seminars

Requirements
Qualifications, Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum of B.Sc or HND in any field
  • Proficiency in the use of SAP /Microsoft office applications.
  • At least 5 years working experience in the Selling of power tools

Key competencies and attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills (English) verbally and in writing
  • Readiness to work in a stressful environment (especially on site)
  • Readiness to travel (domestic /International
  • Valid Driver's licence
  • Age limit: 25 - 35years
