Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of:
Job Title: Chief Internal Auditor - CONTISS 13
Location: Akwa Ibom State
Qualification and Experience
This is a pensionable position of which applicants for the post should possess the following qualifications:
- A good B.Sc (Hons) degree in accounting with at least 2nd class lower division or HND ( Credit Pass) in accounting, plus any of the following professional qualifications - ACA, ACCA, CNA, ACMA, CPA, AICPA plus at least, 11 years relevant cognate experience.
- Possession of MBA and or evidence of participation in a managerial financial executive conference will be an added advantage.
- Applicants must possess experience as an Internal Auditor in the University system or similar institution for at least 10 (ten) years.
- However, a suitable Principal Internal Auditor who possesses one of the above qualifications with at least 3 (three) years of productive service on that post In the University system, may also apply.
- The Chief Internal Auditor shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor in the day- to-day running of the Internal Audit Unit under the Vice-Chancellor’s office.
