A School in Lekki, Lagos is looking for self-motivated, competent candidates who have an in-depth knowledge of teaching best practices to fill the position below:

Job Title: Preschool and Primary Teacher

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full time

Responsibilities
They are expected to:

• Be responsible for cultivating the students interest in education and development.
• Grade assignments, evaluate students progress and plan educational activities.
• Develop and issue educational content including notes, tests, and assignments.
• Adapt the curriculum to fit student needs while maintaining overall class progress.
• Create an Individual Education Plan for all students in your class.
• Create teaching resources.
• Teach the foundation of reading using phonetic knowledge (Jolly Phonics is an advantage for preschool teachers)
• Have experience in remedial teaching and secondary school entrance prep.
• Have a good knowledge of the British Curriculum.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 1 - 5 years work experience.
• Jolly Phonics certification or knowledge is an advantage.
• Technology savvy (know how to teach remotely using Zoom, Google Meet and Google Classroom)
