Adexen is mandated by a leading downstream oil and gas company to fill the position of an HR and Payroll Officer for its operations in Nigeria.

Job Description
The job responsibilities include;
  • Responsible for managing benefits and entitlements for the group according to the organization's policy and administering other compensation plans with required approvals.
  • Preparation of accurate payroll report monthly
  • Developing and obtaining approval managing Monthly Variance Report with Payroll
  • Developing Monthly MBR Report to Finance across the departments
  • Ensuring that Prompt Remittance of Monthly Staff Pension contributions to Pension Fund Administrators are remitted to PFA's monthly
  • Responsible for Day to Day Maintenance of HR Master data's in SAP pertaining to staff administration, Time Management& Payroll
  • Ensuring adherence to HR Policies and Supervising compliance on various HR related actions for all employees
  • Manage all documentation and staff Benefits, Staff data, HR Administration, Pension for 4 service companies
  • Processed SAP Payroll for all the employees and posted the results to Finance module. HRM database administration, personnel file management, HR policies administration, employee screening/hiring/orientation
Requirements
The job requirements include;
  • A good first degree in HR Management or a relevant discipline is required
  • A Masters degree in Human Resource Management is an added advantage
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Professional HR Certification is a plus.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP HCM and SAP Business Blueprint
  • Previous experience in Human Manager Payroll Administration, Relationship Management and Human Resource Policies and Procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of assertiveness and drive.
