A Telecommunication company is recruiting suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Must be able to Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
• Follow up with clients for due payments both for completed projects and new projects (upfront Payments
• Weekly update of reports such as: Receivables and Payables, Year to Date to share with Head of Account.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements
• Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
• Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
• Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Develop, maintain, and analyse budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs
• Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology
• Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities
• Work as Internal Revenue Service agents
• Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts
• Provide internal auditing services.
• Investigate bankruptcies and other complex financial transactions and prepare reports summarizing the findings
• Handles all remittance like payee, tax clearance, pension, NSITF, DPR etc.
• Attend to other roles as assigned by the Managing Director.

Job Requirements

• Must possess a degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Must have a mid Level experience as a Finance Manager.
• Must have 5yrs experience working as Finance Officer
• Must be a Certified Accountant
