The company core area of operation is to provide a broad spectrum of services ranging from Engineering, Pipeline & Flowline Construction / Repairs, Facility piping and maintenance, Wellhead & Christmas tree maintenance and servicing, Composite wrap technology, Equipment & Offshore/Marine Supplies etc.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Fitter
Location: Port-Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract
Principal Responsibilities
- Construct Structural Components Based on Blueprints
- Inspect Structural Systems based on Local and State Building Codes
- Fit Structural Components Together to Create Finished Systems
- Troubleshoot and Repair Malfunctioning Systems
- Perform Regular System Maintenance
- Working with the use of workshop equipment such as milling machines and lathes
- Setting up and adjusting machine tools and equipment
- Constructing and assembling mechanical systems
- Liaising with clients in job execution, if required
- Strictly adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures, including the use of the appropriate protective clothing
- Overseeing structural systems and ensuring that they are maintained regularly.
Education and Work Experience
- Candidates should possess an SSCE / B.Sc qualification
- Minimum of 4 – 8 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
