We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Travel Sales & Marketing Executive

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Descriptions

  • You must be an enthusiastic and energetic candidate with a proven track record of generating commercial opportunities from various business sector or industry.
  • You must be hard-working, ambitious and motivated with a passion for travel sales and the confidence required to go out and hunt for new business

Job Duties

  • Bringing on new business and individual clients
  • Generating new opportunities using a variety of methods
  • Networking and building relationships
  • Delivering sales targets
  • Reporting to Team Leader with commercial forecasting process on monthly basis
  • Account managing clients for repeat business
  • Introducing new product ranges and promotions to existing clients
  • Attending trade shows, events and exhibitions to demonstrate products
  • Analyse the competition to create a plan for engagement
  • Sending leads information and contact to back office for follow up and conversions
  • Schedules appointments and meetings as necessary
  • Makes product appeal to the target market
  • Finds ways to sell products in the face of a down market

Person Specification
Educational qualification:

  • Minimum of OND in a recognised institution.

Work Experience:

  • Must have at least 2 years work experience.
  • Previous experience in sales and marketing will be an added advantage

Female candidate preferred with:

  • Demonstrable experience in the air travel industry sector or similar is essential
  • Proven track record of generating new business is essential
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Experience of devising an effective sales strategy and growing market share
  • Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
  • Personable, professional and outgoing
  • A passion for sales
  • Valid Driving Licence if availabe.
