Job Title: Regional Operations Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Summary
  • The prospective candidate would be responsible for ensuring optimal deployment and utilization of human and material resources across the bank’s branch network.
  • Manage, motivate, train and develop staff to ensure achievement of first class service delivery at the branches.
  • Support marketing/product units in implementation of new product initiatives/ideas for delivery across the branch network as well as constantly seeking to improve on existing ones.
  • Coordinate the management of operational risk issues that arise in daily activities at the branch level.
Full Description
The candidate would be required to:
  • Develop and implement the branch coordination framework for monitoring and managing the operations of all branches in a region.
  • Ensure compliance with policies (institutional and regulatory).
  • Ensure provision of adequate complement of personnel and material resources to the branches to facilitate good service delivery.
  • Consolidate, analyze and monitor branch operations data (efficiency and productivity) on a continuous basis and make recommendations as appropriate.
  • Ensure that the General Ledgers of branches within the cluster are clean and properly reconciled Ensure “A” audit and inspection ratings for the branches in the region.
  • Ensure that departmental controls are adhered to.
  • Conduct branch visits and inspection, document findings/exceptions and follow through for prompt resolution.
Technical Requirements

Educational Qualifications
  • Candidatemust have a BA/B.SC in any discipline with a minimum of Second Class -Lower or HND Upper Credit with an MBA/ACA/CIBN.
  • A Masters degree in Business Management will be an added advantage.
  • In addition, he/She should have a minimum of 8 years experience in banking operations.
