Job Title: Cash Management Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- The rise in daily activities at the branch level prospective candidate would be responsible for optimal management of cash in the region/head office.
- Ensure that branches/bullion centers close within their Cash on Premises limit, cash is promptly supplied and evacuated; and ensure that error free cash processing.
Full Description
The candidate will be expected to do the following:
- Check vault balances of branches daily;
- Send vault balances reports to ED, Ops & IT & Head, and Banking Operations daily;
- Collate reports for cash from Regional Operations Managers;
- Direct branches with excess cash to deposit same with CBN;
- Get bills from cash provisioning vendors and confirm with Regional Operations Managers;
- Authorize entries raised by cash officer;
- Request for cash SWAP through IOD whenever there is deficit foreign currency.
Technical Requirements
- Check vault balances of branches daily;

- Collate reports for cash from Regional Operations Managers;
- Direct branches with excess cash to deposit same with CBN;
- Get bills from cash provisioning vendors and confirm with Regional Operations Managers; Authorize entries raised by cash officer;
- Request for cash SWAP through IOD whenever there is deficit foreign currency.
Educational Qualifications
- Candidate must have a BA/B.SC in any discipline with a minimum of Second Class -Lower or HND Upper Credit with an MBA/ACA/CIBN.
- He/She should have at least 2 years' experience in a cash related function
