Position Description
Provide material selection and corrosion management advice to Operations and Project Teams, as a consultant in materials with focus on materials/Metallurgy.
Position Requirements
Job Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Provide cost effective material selection and corrosion mitigation strategies to ensure integrity of materials applied in subsurface and surface hydrocarbon production, processing and transportation systems through their life cycle for both Onshore/Offshore and Floating Facilities.
Job Specifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering either Mechanical, Process, Materials or related discipline.
- Member of a Recognised Engineering Institution i.e. Nigerian Society of Engineering or COREN.
- Approximately 8+ years post graduate experience, providing materials and corrosion engineering support to both onshore and offshore operations.
- Management of small to medium engineering projects.
Key Competencies Requirements
- Provided materials and corrosion engineering support to both onshore and offshore operations and projects at the front end stage.
- Managed engineering projects and external contractors.
