ABOUT PRESSID
As part of efforts to achieve the goals of Vision 20:2020 and the Transformation Agenda, the Federal Government of Nigeria plans to develop a critical mass of professionals who would serve as catalysts of change and agents of scientific and technological advancement, as well as sustainable economic development. This would be achieved through the sponsorship of outstanding students for postgraduate studies in the top 25 universities in the world. To this end, the Federal Government instituted the Presidential Special Scholarship Scheme for Innovation and Development.
PRESSID List of Shortlisted Candidates for the Presidential Special Scholarship Scheme for Innovation and Development (PRESSID) 2014 / 2015 Academic Session
The successful candidates are hereby invited for initial briefing at the National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja on
Monday, 9th June 2014 at 9.00 a.m.
They should come along with their original certificates, NYSC discharge certificates, letters from two guarantors, their international passports, and letters of admission (if any).
Successful candidates are also encouraged to apply to any of the top 25 universities in the world approved for the scheme as indicated on the NUC’s website.
