Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced Medical Doctor with strong Administrative and Business Development skills to manage and run our Head Office Annex in Lagos State.
  • To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of all administrative procedures relating to the role, including but not limited to creating work schedules and communicating with Healthcare providers.
  • You will also have a considerable knowledge of the Health Insurance industry in Nigeria. You will work closely and coordinate the activities of both the Claims management Officer and the Relationship Management Officers at the Head Office Annex for optimal performance.
  • Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for making sure our Operations in the Head Office Annex run smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of the Claims Management Officer and Relationship Management Officer to ensure optimal performance;
  • Monitor the activities of the Providers and build a good relationship for the delivery of quality healthcare to our enrollees.
  • Drive the Lagos State Health Scheme seamlessly and ensure good standing of our organization on the Scheme
  • Oversee the supplies inventory for our train operationsand coordinate the activities of Nurses on the train.
  • Maintains a cooperative relationship among team members by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport and participating in team problem-solving methods
  • Coordinate and oversee maintaining of records as it relates to all the activities in the Head Office Annex.
  • ensures quality health care delivery to enrolees by continuous monitoring and evaluation of healthcare facilities.

Qualifications and Experience
Education:

  • Applicant must possess a Medical Degree (MBBS)
  • Up-to-date registration and license from the MDCN
  • An MBA would be an added advantage

Experience:

  • Applicant must have minimum of 7 years Post NYSC experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role
  • Experience in Business Development activities.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in oral and written English is a requirement.
