Job Description

• Animal behaviorists are scientists who study and observe the ways animals behave.
• They determine what causes certain types of behavior in animals and find ways to change animal behavior...Some train or retrain animals.
• They also resolve behavior problems in companion animals.

Duties or Responsibilities

• Animal behaviorists apply principles of animal behavior science while studying how animals interact with each other and their environments.
• They may research an animal’s methods of communication, instinctual responses, learning methods, psychology, and group interaction skills.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a minimum of OND qualification.
