A reputable company is currently recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Experienced with ALL the basic principles of Accounting
• Conduct daily Bank reconcialiation on bank statements to ensure no financial discrepancies
• Prepare information and documentation for regular audit
• Proficient in Financial accounting
• Proficient in excel i.e. excel functions, formulas etc.
• Experienced with posting financial information into accounting softwaresuch as Sage Evolution, Sage50, QuickBook etc.
• Maintainaccount payables and accounts receivables: Prepare reports on payments due
• Prepareasset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

Requirements
Education / Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree and / or Master's Degree in Accounting is required
• NYSC Certificate is required.
• Experience: 5 - 7 years as an accountant in the retail or suppy chain sector
• Three Guarantors will need to be provided
• Practicing Accountant with 5-7 years of accounting experience in supply chain or retail sector
• Proficient in excel
• Proper writing and communication skills
• Ability to work with little to no supervision
• Fast-Learner, ready to grow in a dynamic and rewarding work environment.
