We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Manager - Business Development

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Responsible for driving expansion of the company’s services into new markets within the industry and ensuring consistent and rapid growth in all the company’s business segment.

Job Description

  • Lead the formulation, execution and monitoring of company’s business development, market penetration strategies and plans for enhancing business growth.
  • Compile, process, analyze and provide insight on all sales and marketing data
  • Provide deep insight into client needs, strategy and market challenges to relevant stakeholders.
  • Proactively originate and create demand for new opportunities for the company to generate new revenue streams
  • Define and follow up on yearly business targets and objectives.
  • Negotiate business contracts with clients and ensuring their profitability.
  • Lead the preparation of bids/proposals.
  • Lead and support significant pursuits to ensure bids are converted to sales
  • Liaise with the marketing team to develop pricing frameworks and ensure such frameworks are fully optimized.
  • Monitor company revenue performance against agreed business target.
  • Proactively pursue and maintain competitor intelligence to have a view of the competition.

Job Specification

  • Minimum of 8 years proven experience in a senior business development role.
  • Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degree qualification
  • Demonstrated success in generating new business and achieving revenue growth.
  • High analytical capabilities and ability to draw decisions based on intuition and given data.
  • Ability to work independently in a goal-oriented manner.
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables and meet deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation, organization and communication skills.
  • Meticulous with good attention to details.
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills in business relationships with results.
