Job Title: Demand Planner
Location: Lagos
Job Description:
An opportunity exists for a Demand Planner reporting to the Supply Chain Director. The successful incumbent will provide customers with a demand forecast on tactical and operational levels so that informed business decisions can be made.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compile and manage an agreed demand forecast
- Report on forecast performance
- Provided statistical base for sales budget
Requirements:
- Minimum B. Degree with a major in a financial, commercial or statistical field
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a supply chain management role, preferably at management level
- Knowledge and experience in clearing and forwarding processes
- Experience in the management of a large data base would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of supply chain principles and practices
- Excellent understanding of inventory management
- Application of knowledge
