The University of Lagos (UNILAG), a Federal Government University in Lagos, Lagos State, southern Nigeria, has remained one of the best and renowned in the country. With an enrollment of over 50,000 students, UNILAG is one of the largest universities in Nigeria. The main campus is located at Akoka, Yaba area of Lagos, while the campus of its College of Medicine with its adjunct Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) is located idi-Araba, Surulere, on the Lagos mainland.

Description
  • A candidate for this post should normally possess a good first degree and a doctorate degree in the respective field from a recognized University
Area of Specialisation for Theatre Arts:
  • Technical Theatre (Theatre Design and Technology), Dance, Theatre Administration and Management, Arts of Theatre(Acting, Directing and Playwriting),Dramatic Theory and Criticism, Theatre and Film Studies.
Areas of Specialisation for Visual Arts:
  • Candidate must show a strong commitment to studio art production in painting,ceramics, sculpture,textiles,metal design/jewelry or graphics. Other areas of interest are: art history and art education.
Areas of Specialisation for Music:
  • Composition,Theory, Musicology,Performance,Music Psychology.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Recognised publications in Theatre Arts, Visual Arts or Music will be an added advantage.
