Job Title: Senior Accounts Executive

Location: Nigeria (Nationwide)

Job Description

  • Our client is in need of a Senior Accounts Executive to provide financial, administrative and clerical services
  • The Account Executive will ensure accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
  • Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
  • Deliver an accurate and efficient credit control service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure the smooth running of accounts.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years working experience as an Accounts Executive or Accounts Receivable Executive in a similar industry
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
