We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Reverse Osmosis Operator

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: MD

Main Function

  • The Reverse Osmosis Operator will be responsible and accountable for maintaining and operating the filtering and chemical treatment processes.
  • The RO will handle operation of pumps, high capacity boreholes, Reverse Osmosis water treatment plant, Ultra Purification filtration systems, UV and Ozone systems, Back washing of tanks and equipment, and use of Chlorine for sterilization of tanks.

Role Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the Reverse Osmosis Plant to produce optimum quality, potable water
  • Maintain the treatment of plant systems
  • Maintain and operate the filtering and chemical treatment processes
  • Inspect, service and repair components of the water treatment plant including water intakes, pipes, water storage vessels, chemical treatment equipment controls, circulation pumps, boilers, heat exchangers and valves
  • Prepare work orders for servicing and repairs
  • Inspect the treatment plant systems on a daily basis to ensure effective operations
  • Conduct regular inspections of the physical plant
  • Maintain the general administration of the water system in order to ensure effective operations
  • Establish preventative maintenance schedules
  • Administer water distribution contracts
  • Keep a daily log
  • Prepare activity and work order reports
  • Recommend the purchase of goods and equipment
  • Maintain inventories
  • Ensure relevant records are drafted and up to date
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualification

  • An HND or a degree in the Physical Sciences or its equivalent.
  • Must have mechanical aptitude and minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
