Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• The Chief Security Officer will be primarily responsible for developing and overseeing policies and programs used in the mitigation or reduction of compliance, operational, strategic and financial security risk strategies relating to employees, assets and other properties.

Responsibilities

• Drive all security related investigations.
• Review and update security architecture and needs.
• Carry out background checks on employees.
• Drive account receivables collection from a security point of view.
• Develop initiatives to protect intellectual property, copyrights and other related risks.
• Work with Manager and other executives to prioritize security initiatives.
• Manage and coordinate all security personnel in the company.
• Work with external consultants as appropriate for independent security audits.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualification

• Minimum of B.Sc. in Accounting, Economics, Psychology or other related disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role and MUST be a retired Military or policeman.

• Sound knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Surveillance skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Objectivity.
