Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
The accountant will Coordinate the company's financial planning and budget management, analyze benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance for Departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and manage the preparation of management report of budget / actual revenues and expenses
• Track and analyse specialty reports and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact the company

Qualifications
Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
• Must be a Chartered Accountant
• Minimum 8 years’ experience preferably in audit or financial reporting role in OIL & GAS INDUSTRY
• Other relevant professional qualifications includes; CFA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA

Key Competencies:

• Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving skills with high attention to detail
• Good knowledge of statutory regulations, reporting standards and tax matters
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of computer literacy, advanced Finance skills.
