Job Title: Head of Internal Audit
Location: Lagos
Requirement
Will be responsible for developing and leading the Internal Audit function in a professional manner which seeks to ensure that it is effective and commands a high standard of respect both internally and externally; Candidate should
- Be able to evaluate an organisation’s management of risk.
- Have knowledge of auditing practices and principles.
- Have the ability to collect and evaluate evidences from an organisation’s information systems, practices, and operations and determine if the information systems are safeguarding the information assets, maintaining data integrity, and operating effectively and efficiently to achieve the organisation’s business objectives.
- Have multi industry experience, which could include insurance and/or experience in a professional accounting firm.
- Be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or equivalent.
- Have a first degree in any discipline.
- Ten (plus) years’ experience is considered adequate.
Membership of the Institute of Internal Auditors or any of its affiliate bodies will be an advantage.
