Diamond Technical Company Limited (DTCL) - Our client, a major player in the Oil and Gas sector, plans to acquire a 3D seismic survey to be used in exploration and development of offshore Oil/Gas producing facilities in Its license areas, requires the services of qualified, highly experienced, and result-oriented professionals to fill the vacant position of.
Job Title: Seismic (Technical) QC Representative(Nigerian & Expatriate)
Location: Lagos
Position Purpose
To “monitor and advise on onboard data acquisition quality control products, onboard data processing, and verification of data deliverables associated with the Project.
General Qualification
- Must possess a minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in a scientific. maths, or engineering field relevant to the job requirements such as Geophysics, Geology, Civil/Electrical Engineering, Geodesy, Marine Science/ Biology/Oceanography etc. - as appropriate with at least 12 years of cognate experience.
Experience Required:
- Must have 8 continuous years of active QC representative support for 3D seismic acquisition, field processing, and data management support with at least 3 years of this experience working on mufti streamer 3D crews involving multi-vessel operations. Prior 4D experience is also strongly desired.
