Grill / BBQ Chef at a Food Company

We are a food company catering within the Chevron Lekki environment.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Grill / BBQ Chef

Location: Chevron Lekki, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

• Consistency in meal taste, output
• Very good with Lagos bbq/grill delicacies including asun, chicken, chicken wings, turkey, croaker, titus, yam chips, French fries, bole (bole), pepper sauce. Shawarma is an added advantage
• Spicing and grilling meat, poultry and vegetables the Naija spicy way
• Prepare menu schedule for the day , prepare Ingredient for cooking while ensuring menu standards are met
• Create good and clean cooking environment according to environmental laws of sanitation. Preventing cross-contamination.
• Preparing meals in accordance with customers’ preferences, if applicable.
• Tracking the components of each meal to ensure that the final dish is completed in a timely manner. Participate in weekly environmental sanitation.
• Ensuring that your workstation remains clean and orderly at all times.
• Tracking inventory to ensure that you always have adequate supplies.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of an SSCE qualification
• 2 years work experience.
• Applicants should reside around Chevron, Ajah, Lekki axis
• Prior experience as a grill chef/Cook, preferably with a focus on grilling, fries and shawarma
• Capacity to stand for long hours.
• Thorough knowledge of food safety guidelines
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Level-headed with outstanding interpersonal skills.

Remuneration

• NN40,000-50,000 net monthly
• Working hours 1pm-9pm Tuesday-Sundays. Mondays are off-days
• Applicants should reside around Chevron, Ajah, Lekki axis.
• Report to the Operation Manager.
