Job Description:
Ideal candidates will be responsible for producing, designing, crafting, and testing wood products and furniture using specialized tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, produce, and test wood products
- Build furniture using hand tools
- Set up, operate, and tend drill presses, lathes, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and wood-nailing machines
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- Basic vocational qualification in woodwork is required with SSCE
- Knowledge of designing woodwork using computer aided design software is not required but is an added advantage
- Creativity and Manual Dexterity
- Mechanical ability and safety ethics
