Job Summary

• Responsible for planning and delivering of mathematics’ lessons.
• Periodical assessment and reporting of learners’ performance
• Ensuring excellent performance of pupils in mathematics

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver quality mathematics lessons
• Assess, record and report pupils’ progress
• Prepare pupils for internal and external examinations
• Maintain tidy and orderly classroom
• Attends staff meetings and serve on committees as required
• Any other duties as may be assigned

Requirements
Educational and work experience:

• B.Sc / B.Ed. Mathematics
• Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in teaching

Skills and competence:

• Excellent spoken and writing English language
• Good communication skills
• Patience and understanding
• Enthusiasm and friendliness
• Critical thinking
