Job Title: Head - Business Operations

Summary
- Direct point of contact for all terminal employees to maximize our company’s operating capabilities, collaborate with management to execute and oversee business strategies that guarantee customer satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
- Controlling the logistics operations by identifying and measuring all critical steps on the operations process to ensure that the minimum operations standards as required.
- Plans, directs, organizes and controls the activities within branch operations.
- Ensures efficient and profitable operations, uses independent judgment within the framework of established policies and objectives in decisions affecting branch activities.
- Makes recommendations and assists in the formulation of the company objective, polices and plans that meet our business objectives and ensure compliance.
- Plans, examines, analyzes and evaluates branch operations in respect to quality standards, safety standards and customer support.
- Take into account the needs of external and internal stakeholders and incorporate them into new strategic plans.
- Employing strategies to ensure company’s growth.
- Effecting better business practices.
- Maximizing operating potential to exceed customers’ expectations and company goals.
- Monitor daily operations and address potential issues when they arise.
- Implementing plans to address losses and theft.
- Employing means to control company costs.
- Conducting performance reviews in a prudent manner and motivating staff.
- Coordinate with the HR department to ensure our hiring plans meet our business needs.
- Delegating responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants.
- Employing various initiatives to coach employees to optimize their capabilities.
- Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies, and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.
- Ability to ensure all operations are carried on in an appropiriate, cost-effective way.
- Must be able to improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
- Must be able to purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency.
- Must be able to help the organization's processes remain legally compliant and manage budgets and forecasts.
- Implement and monitor overall revenue generation and cost optimisation plans.
Specificaction
- Minimum of a first degree in Business Administration or other Social / Management Sciences.
- Relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5years+successfully managing a complex enterprise's human resources, operations or strategies
- Good knowledge of business analysis, customer service marketing
- Detail oriented/ analytical
- Team leadership skills, with ability to motivate others.
- Outstanding people skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to create and analyze complex spreadsheets using excel, and create and present power point presentations.
