Job Description
- This leading international Microfinance institute in Africa is searching for a candidate to assist the organization to accomplish its objectives in a systematic, disciplined and improved manner.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of the internal Audit plan for his/her affiliate: ensure that planned audits are completed when expected
- Lead internal Audit assignments at affiliate or Regional level
- Participate to audit engagement under the supervision of another manager: collaborate and contribute to the effective realization of the audit assignment
- Responsible for the overall and on-going communication with the Audit Committee and the management of his/her affiliate
- Assist the Regional Internal Audit Manager in managing internal audit staff
- Participate in projects for the internal audit group regionally or globally as assigned by the Regional Internal Audit Manager or the Head of Global Internal Audit.
- The candidate will need to be available to travel for about 50% of the time.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- CIA and/or CFE (or studying toward) is essential.
- 5 years' internal auditing experience within a supervisory capacity.
- Experience in Microfinance operations, or Banking or auditing in a supervising capacity is sought after.
