Job Title: Science Teacher

Job Description
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to teach children in the subject(s) applied for.
- Conducts activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
- Identify, select, and modify resources to meet the needs of the students taking into cognizance the varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs of the pupils.
- Maintains effective and efficient record keeping procedures.
- Provides a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process.
- Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis.
- Be of professional and ethical standards especially when dealing with students, colleagues, and community.
- Ensures that student's growth and achievement is continuous and appropriate for age group, subject area, and/or program classification.
Requirements
- First Degree and/or teaching degree
- At least five years teaching experience
- Evidence of further professional study e.g. Masters
- Professional association with a recognized body is an added advantage
- IGCSE certificate would be a plus
- Teaching experience in an international school would be a plus.
