Job Description
- LIXYtech is recruiting an experiencedmid-level or senior JavaScript Application Developer to work on blockchain / cryptocurrency applications. who is passionate about solving complex problems with code. We are looking for next-generation Nigerian developers to create, lead, and build new solutions.
Key Responsibilities
The developer’s primary responsibility is to develop applications for the blockchain / cryptocurrency. This involves the following:
- Understanding your client’s business goals
- Develop & maintain fast and functional applications
- Write unit tests and ensure code quality
- Troubleshoot apps for bugs Implement front-end and back-end requirements
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners to ensure a high quality product
Technical requirements
- Are able to pass our engineering skills assessment
- Highly skilled in JavaScript and NodeJS
- Experience writing unit tests in JS test frameworks like mocha and chai
- Experience or strong interest in blockchain or cryptocurrency software development
- Experience with AWS or a similar cloud infrastructure system
- Experience with Postgres or similar SQL based relational database
- Have experience developing software using Agile methodologies
- Experience with Linux or another UNIX like environment
