Bursar at the Nigeria Arabic Language Village

The Nigeria Arabic Language Village is an Inter-University Centre for Arabic Studies established in 1992. The Village is the only parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Education mandated to offer Arabic Immersion services to undergraduate students from Nigerian Universities and Acculturation services to students from Colleges of Education across the country.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bursar

Location: Maiduguri, Borno

Responsibilities

• The Bursar shall be the Chief Financial Officer of the centre and be responsible to the Director/CEO for the day to day administration and control of the financial affairs of the centre.
• Furnishing the Director/CEO with financial reports and so on.
• Attending Council, Management meetings and others e.g committee meetings that may be required of him.

Requirements

• Possess a good University Degree.
• Posses at least fifteen (15) years post qualification.expenence, with a minimum of four (4) years as Deputy Bursar in the University System.
• Possession of a higher degree or membership of a recognized professional body will be an added advantage.
• The Bursar should possess a working knowledge of the Arabic Language.

Tenure:

• The appointment shaIl be for one term of five (5) years only.

Conditions of Service:

• The conditions of service, shall be as obtainable in the Nigerian University system.

Salary
The salary, shall be as obtainable in the Nigeria University system.
