Aquada Development Corporation Limited - an IDMANN Academy which provides tutorial support to secondary and pre-secondary age students in the core subject area. We also provide tutorial assistance in support of assessment tests and entrance preparation exams for students.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Private Tutor (Private Tutor Program)

Location: Old Umuahia, Abia
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Details

• The instructor will teach one student exclusively. Tutors and families are matched to ensure a good working relationship for the extended period of engagement.

Responsibilities
Prospective applicants should note the following:

• Instructors should expect to be engaged approximately 40 hours per week (full-time).
• We expect instructors to have hands-on familiarity with the common core standard
• Instructors are expected to have appropriate certification or prior experience in early childhood education. (A combination of a teaching certification AND demonstrated experience (> 2 years) teaching in an elementary school would be ideal.)
• Prior experience teaching online or familiarity with an online teaching engagement is critical in this position.

Requirements

• A reliable laptop or desktop running Windows 10, equipped with a good quality webcam and microphone, keyboard and mouse (or touchpad), as no instruction will be permitted over a handheld or mobile device.
• Stable, reliable broadband internet access.
• Space from which to provide daily instruction to students,free of distraction or intrusionduring class sessions.
• Availability five days a week.
