Job Description

• Manage marketing campaigns, daily promotions and seasonal promotions from start to finish.
• Create and implement strategies that inform the development of content, guidelines and campaigns.
• Leading and contribution to improve the content strategy and development process.
• Collaborate with account executives to obtain knowledge of customers requirements.
• Develop marketing communications plan/strategy based on informed research.
• Create effective content solutions across a variety of platforms including web, email, social media, blogs, print collateral and more.
• Direct and motivate teams of art directors, illustrators, copywriters.
• Plan and execute all digital marketing including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
• Design, build and maintain our social media presence.
• Research industry- related topics and identify gaps in our advertising messaging, identify trends and insights, optimize spend and performance based on insights,
• Prepare and publish articles that describe our company and products.
• Use SEO practices to optimize articles and increase brand visibility.
• Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
• Liaise with designers to enrich text with visual aids, like images and charts.
• Shape language and tone used in sales emails, banners and brochures.
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI & KPIs), Create and oversee reports on content.
• Ensure all content is up-to-date.

Requirements

• Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or related field
• Prior experience in marketing and sports management
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of the sporting industry
• Ability to use analytic software effectively
• Social perceptiveness
• Understanding pf potential market arenas for products
• Critical Thinking
• Negotiation
• Organisational skills
• Proven success in producing copy for advertising/marketing campaigns
• Exceptional skill in social media writing, use of hashtags and relevant acronyms.
• Proficiency with office software
• Experience with SEO concepts and social media marketing
• Creativity, adaptability and the ability to collaborate.
• Comfortable working independently and under short deadlines
• Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills with a diligent eye for details
• Ability to think conceptually.
