Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Location: Yobe
Job Description:
The M&E Officer will work in close collaboration and provide direct support to nutrition & WASH programs under the guidance of the Nutrition PM to ensure implementation of the M&E plan for the on-going programme, including monitoring progress against activity and providing support and guidance to the program team.
Summary of Key Objectives:
- Objective 1: Provide support to the program team in the collection, compilation, analysis and reporting of CMAM, IYCF & WASH data
- Objective 2: Build the capacity of health staff and Community Volunteers and conduct regular monitoring and evaluation at LGA and health facility level.
- Objective 3: Coordinate and support the government health offices both at the LGA & health facility levels.
Qualifications & Essential Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Public Health, Statistics or Demography with previous experience In data collection, program monitoring and evaluation
- Commitment to and understanding of ACF aims, values and principles.
- Experience of data collection, analysis, and report writing.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel,
- Willing and able to be based and travel regularly within remote areas, where services are limited.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and community norms understanding.
- Highly motivated, and flexible
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English and local language
- Knowledge on SPSS, SMART or any statistical software
- Working experiences in nutrition or health project
