Job Title: Legal Researcher / Writer

Job Description

• We are in search for a Legal researcher and content writer who is able to research and create content on a wide range of legal topics revolving aroundbusiness andreal estate law.
• The ideal candidate must be experienced in sourcing for information through the internet. Relevant materials would include previous articles written on the research topics, law reports, statutes and other relevant information.

Responsibilities

• Day to day responsibilities include conducting research on the given topic, creating topical ideas relating to the business of the firm and creating well articulated and processed content that can easily be understood by the reader.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Researching and writing content
• Creating and structuring articles and online course content
• Researching and planning content production and delivery.

Education

• The ideal candidate should be a law graduate and possess a minimum or an LLB degree from a reputable university.

Experience:

• Research writing, academic writing and other relevant experience is required. Candidates who have no consistent experience in this regards would not be considered, hence it is important to emphasis on this if you are applying.

Skills:

• The ideal candidate must have experience in researching and must be able to write in simple, fluent and consistent manner. He or she must also be creative and able to create both lengthy and short versions of a write up. All in all the candidate must possess the following skills:
  • Research
  • Writing
  • Editing
  • Computer and internet literacy
  • Creativity
  • Time management
• As the job is a part time and remote working position, it is also essential that the ideal candidate is independent minded and requires little or no supervision.
