Job Title: Estate Manager

Locations: Abuja, Lagos, Osogbo - Osun and Ibadan - Oyo

Job Description

  • Proven work experience as property manager
  • Full understanding of property management and its financial aspects

  • In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management

  • Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Well organized with excellent time management skills
  • Valid real estate agent/broker license
  • Marketing and promoting properties for sale;
  • Deals with property maintenance requirements
  • Undertaking property survey and preparing maintenance plans
  • Assist in representing the company in negotiation with prospective buyers/clients;
  • Assist in collecting information about a property and arranging for photographs to be taken;
  • Assist in Vetting sellers by collecting references and carrying out background and all round checks;
  • Assist in calculating overhead cost depreciation, taxes and profit goals
  • Holding meetings with sellers on certain property and its special features;
  • Estimating the value of the property;
  • Assist in monitoring sales as they proceed and liaising with all interested parties including mortgage brokers, solicitors, surveyors and other estate agents
  • Assist in Ensure properties meet legal, health and safety requirements,
  • Advising clients and helping buyers to decide what they want to buy;
  • Making sure that a price is agreed that is acceptable to both buyer and seller;
  • Keeping up to date with trends in the local residential property market, as well as the commercial market.
  • Draw up an agreement contracts;
  • Collecting or organizing rent payments;
  • Acts as a property manager and resolve any issues that arise with properties.
  • Manages all aspects of assigned properties
  • Design business plans for assigned properties that suit customers’ needs
  • Assist in inspection and arrangement maintenance to meet standards
  • Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
  • Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner
  • Advertise and market vacant spaces to attract clients
  • Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses
  • Develop and manage annual budgets by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, data and trends
  • Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance.

Requirements

  • Qualification: B.Sc / HND in Estate Management
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in the Real Estate field.
